HISTORY
NEXT LEVEL Partners®, LLC was founded in 2003 by original architects and practitioners of the Danaher Business System (DBS).
Our skills and experiences connect directly back to the original zealots of the Toyota Production System and our renowned transformational work done while at Danaher Corporation.
Danaher was one of the first domestic companies to adopt the Toyota-based Lean Manufacturing philosophy. Trained by original developers of the Toyota Production System, these leaders used Lean principles to deliver unparalleled levels of profitability improvement. The Danaher Business System (DBS) was eventually expanded to include more than just manufacturing and adapted for use in transactional, commercial, and other business processes.
1950s
The Toyota Production System (TPS) was the precursor to what we now call Lean Manufacturing. It has evolved over the last half-century to be applied across a broad range of industries and functional areas.
1987
Danaher was one of the first domestic companies to adopt the Toyota-based Lean philosophy. Trained by original developers of the Toyota Production System, these Danaher Lean Leaders learned how to instill Lean thinking and build a Lean culture. DBS was eventually expanded across Danaher to include transactional, commercial, and financial processes.
2003
NLP was founded in 2003 by original architects and practitioners of the Danaher Business System (DBS). The three founding principals created NLP with the vision to leverage their successful leadership experience into Lean transformation client offerings that take public, private equity-backed, and private organizations to the next level of business performance. Their innovative business model remains core to the approach used today.
